James Webber
Jim has worked as a filmmaker for over eight years, making numerous music videos, promos, and commercials. He has also written and directed several award-winning shorts. His first major short, the highly acclaimed Driftwood, has won over 25 awards at international festivals, including a prestigious ‘Coup de Coeur’ at Cannes and was long-listed for a BAFTA for ‘Best Short Film’. The film was picked up for distribution by Shorts International and in the summer of 2014 it was broadcast on Channel 4’s The Shooting Gallery. James’ follow up to Driftwood was drama short Sororwhich hosted an impressive cast including double BAFTA winner Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones, Red Road). In the last two years he’s moved more towards horror with shorts The Prey and Hushy Bye, but drama is still were his heart lies. As a producer, James worked with director Axelle Carolyn on her short film The Halloween Kid which he produced alongside Neil Marshall (Dir. Game of Thrones). James’s next project will be his feature film directing debut, Solitude Country.
Lorenzo Levrini
Lorenzo Levrini is an award-winning London-based cinematographer. He recently shot action horror epic Redcon-1. He was shortlisted at the Reed Film Awards two years in a row for the shorts Gaffer andAchiever. He has worked on high-end commercials for clients such as Samsung, Barclays, CBS and the Be More Dog campaign for O2, travelled the world for TV shows and shot countless shorts and music videos. He has also shot digital, online and viral content for Lucozade, Pfizer, Ben Sherman, NHS, Virgin Media, Dove, Nintendo, RICS, McCoys and HSBC. Lorenzo’s work as part of The Springhead Film Company so far includes DP credits on Soror, The Prey, Hushy Bye, Tea For Two and zazU Comedy. On the side, he teaches cinematography on the filmmaking course at London Metropolitan University and Ravensbourne and runs London Film Lighting Workshops, under which he teaches film lighting in innovative ways. Sound Recordist – Doug Templeton
Doug is a production sound professional with a mature and measured approach, which comes from several years of working in film production. After taking a break from the industry he returned to production sound, continuing to broaden his experience and skills. A graduate of the National Film & Television School and has worked on a diverse range of projects from a documentary in Thailand, to an award-winning feature film.
